Handmade in Brooklyn by Morgan Levine.
I grew up in Bethesda, Maryland wild about clay, and moved to Brooklyn, New York to study Industrial design. It’s tricky to keep a kiln in a Brooklyn apartment, so my medium shifted from clay to crepe paper.
For the brooches and barrettes, I make my own double sided crepe paper, hand cut each petal, assemble each blossom, and preserve it in a durable resin. I craft the overgrown roses with a lot of double sided German crepe paper and a little bit of love.
Custom orders are available upon request. As in nature, each flower is unique and may not be identical to the image pictured.
Enjoy!
